Easter Weekend

As you can see Cayla is just growing like crazy. We had an awesome fun filled weekend for Easter not to mention that it was also Grandad Butch's birthday. With confetti eggs, silly string, water guns, and flying kites and so much more. Cayla enjoyed watching all her cousins play around. She loves to be outside and hardly fusses at all when she is outside for long periods of time. She always wants to be on the go which makes it hard to get anything done, but I love her eagerness just to watch and take in her surroundings. She loves to roll around and is trying to scoot, but gets a little frustrated from time to time. She is creeping up on six months and I can't believe it. Feels like I just had her. Time really goes by, but I am so thankful that I get to spend every second of the day with her and that God really does take care of us.

4 months and counting

Yes today marks the day of turning 4 months young. Cayla is growing like crazy even though everybody says she is small. She weighs 11lbs 7oz. and 23in long. She maybe small but she is a smart one the doctor says she is right where she needs to be and is even doing some things early. She is a wonderful little girl and can't thank God enough for all he has done for us. She loves to make all different sorts of noises and all the time. She sleeps 5-6 hrs. stretch at night, but occaisonally likes to wake up and try to play at 3 in the morning we are working on that. We haven't master the rolling over skill but she trys really hard. She has found her feet and loves to play with them. Everyday seems like a new day to us she really does something new and cute all the time. One thing is she's got me on my toes and by that I mean I'm on the move all the time cause she wants to explore new sights.

3 months

I can't believe that this is my little girl. She is growing up so fast. I know I didn't post anything at 2 months, but she weighed 9 lbs. 4 oz at her 2 month appt. and is 21.5 inches long. I really have know clue how much she weighs now but I can almost say she is up to 22.5 or 23 inches long she is growing like crazy and her demeanor changes from day to day. She smiles, laughs, and ahgoo's me all the time. she loves to blow spit bubbles and drool everywhere. She is a load of fun and a blessing.

Well I do believe that Cayla's 1st Christmas was a success. She slept most of Christmas away, but that's ok we enjoyed opening her presents for her. Christmas Eve we spent with my mom who bought the cutest outfits, but my dad ended up having to work all through Christmas. Christmas Day was spent with Nana and Grandad where we got more more presents from everybody. Cayla says thank you for everything. She is growing like a weed and I just can't get enough of her. She smiles and make the cutest noises. Best is when she sneezes she makes some pretty funny sounds when that happens. She loves smiling and talking to Dad before going to work. I think she is trying to give him some advice for the start of the day. Well hope every one enjoyed their Christmas and has a very Happy New Year.

It has been a while since I've posted. Well Miss Cayla is just growing so fast in front of our eyes. She is 5 1/2 weeks now and I just can't believe it. At her 1 month check-up she is weighing in at 7 lbs. 10 oz and 19 1/2 in. long. She now smiles at us and loves to talk first thing in the morning. While we were in town for her check-up she got to visit Santa Claus and didn't even fuss once at him, but it's not like she knows the difference anyway. Our New Edition

Well I think our lives just made a big transition. We finally welcomed our precious little girl Cayla Hope James into the world on November 8, 2010 at 1:34 pm. She weighed in on 6lbs 4.9 oz and 19 inches long. Yes she is a string bean, but a cute one at that. I never really new that something so tiny could just make your heart melt so much. She is a true blessing sent from God and our first baby. She does the everyday newborn things. Sleeps, eats, and messes everywhere. We definitely should have invested stock in Pampers. She blows threw diapers like crazy. We wanted to thank everyone for the gifts, dinners, and support from the family and our Christian family you guys have been wonderful. We wouldn't get through this without you.
